Rosewood & Milky Amber Pendant
Rosewood "Stripe" Amber Rectangle No. 9 is a remarkable pendant. Rosewood is very hard and difficult to carve and one of its uses is as an esssential oil, obtained from its heart. Amber also is used as an essential oil, and much the same as rosewood oil, is used for healing and massage. The scent of rosewood is light and has been described as spiritual, the scent of amber is somewhat of a pungent pine. A blend of these two essential oils is a perfect match. The two together as a wearable art piece is absolutely divine.

A deep, wide swath of butterscotch inside the milky color amber adds character and that amazing one of only one in the world feeling to this wonderful piece. The rough amber cortex or "skin" along bottom edge is left intact by the amber artist Dorota Kos of Gdansk, Poland.
